China holds an element of mystique for many of us. Our expert guides will unlock many of her mysteries as we explore the country from Beijing, to Xi’an, Shanghai, and beyond. We’ll participate in classes to learn dumpling making and character writing. We’ll visit the panda research center and an unexpected mosque. There will be walks on the Great Wall, visits to the Terra Cotta Warriors, palace tours and village promenades. We will reveal as much as we can of China’s vast treasures and fascinating history.

Reformation 500th Anniversary Tour • Oct. 22 - Nov. 2, 2017

Join the Rev. John Steer and his wife Gretchen on a historical trip that explores the medieval life that sparked the Reformation. We explore castles, churches and walled cities, the Gutenberg Bible and the Bach Organ in Leipzig. Along the way, we visit the places that were important in Martin Luther’s life. A highlight is our attendance at the commemorations in Wittenberg on October 31, the 500th Anniversary of Luther’s posting the 95 thesis. This tour will become part of your own faith story.

This once in a lifetime tour will be in Wittenberg for the activities commemorating the 500th Anniversary of the Reformation on October 31st. We’ll be making stops in other cities important to the life of Martin Luther in Leipzig, Erfurt, Wartburg and elsewhere. Our tour will also include Munich and Dachau, Salzburg, and Oberammergau, as well as many other stops that will highlight the unique charms of southern Germany.

Luther 500th Anniversary Tour • Oct. 27 - Nov. 5, 2017

We honor Martin Luther on this tour to commemorate his life and work. We explore many German destinations important to his story. We visit Eisleben where he was both born and died, Wartburg Castle where he translated the Bible into German, and the Augustinian Abbey where he became a monk. We are in Wittenberg for the 500th Anniversary of the posting of the 95 Theses. There will be visits to Rothenberg and Munich and other beautiful areas of southern Germany.
