Heroes of the Reformation and their Homelands
October 2 - October 13, 2013​
The tour begins in Prague, where we see how English reformer/Bible translator John Wycliffe's ideas affected Jan Hus one hundred years before Luther posted his 95 Theses. In Germany, we will visit the key Luther sites, including Wittenberg, Erfurt, Eisenach, and Worms. In Switzerland, we hear how the Reformation spread through the ministry of Zwingli in Zurich and Calvin in Geneva. As an optional two-day extension, we’ll travel by high-speed train to Paris to discover the role, and the fate, of the French Protestants, called Huguenots.

A Toast to Tuscany • October 17 - 28, 2013​
From the canals of Venice to the grandeur of Rome, this tour highlits the treasure of Italy. We begin in Murano, the center of the Italian glassmaking industry. We cruise along the serpentine Grand Canal to St. Mark's Square. As we travel south into Tuscany, we visit the Leaning Tower of Pisa and travel to the walled city of Lucca. We spend four nights at Montecatini Terme, a famous health spa city. From here we take day trips to Florence, Siena, and San Gimignano. Our four nights in Rome include the Vatican Museum and the Sistine Chapel, the Roman Forum and an excursion to the ruins of Pompeii.

Weihnachten: Christmas in Bavaria •
November 29 - December 7, 2013​
There is nothing quite like the feeling of German Christmas markets. City centers are aglow with festive lights, neighbors enjoy lively conversation, and the scent of sausages and "Glühwein" fills the air. We encounter our first Christmas market in Rothenburg ob der Tauber, a medieval walled city and home to one of Kathe Wohlfahrt's Christkindlmarkts. Later in Salzburg, we explore another Christmas market and are introduced to the Mirabel Gardens, Mozart's Birth House, and the grand cathedral. Also included are Munich, Strasbourg, France and the Black Forest.
