Weihnachten: Christmas in Bavaria â€¢ï»¿
November 29 - December 7, 2013

There is nothing quite like the feeling of German Christmas markets. City centers are aglow with festive lights, neighbors enjoy lively conversation, and the scent of sausages and "Glühwein" fills the air. We encounter our first Christmas market in Rothenburg ob der Tauber, a medieval walled city and home to one of Kathe Wohlfahrt's Christkindlmarkts. Later in Salzburg, we explore another Christmas market and are introduced to the Mirabel Gardens, Mozart's Birth House, and the grand cathedral.
